In most styles, the links on the Navigation bar go in the navbar template.

Worst advice ever. Imagine, sending people over to .org for more helpful answers. That's like sending people to Hell's Kitchen to ask for driving directions.

This site reveals this excellent article (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43&highlight=navbar) on the navbar, found with a simple search.

There is this plugin (http://www.vbhackers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3334&highlight=navbar), on vbhackers, if you don't wish to or cannot edit the template itself. Also this one (http://www.vbhackers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2677&highlight=navbar), which uses the AdminCP to add your links.
