I'd advise against adding too much styles. Develop a site identity first. And for that you will have to get rid of the default vbcolors.

I'd also recomed to start working on your SEO with all the great free tips you can find here and in other places all over the web.

Other than that I thin you're off to a good start.

Thanks. I'll start styles later on when I'm settled in. My kind of members like, no, need them. The first one was trying to imitate the old forum. And I have the colors planned to get rid of the default but it's hard to do.

I starting on directories, and I'm on Google.

Thanks

Yeah but your meta tags and description still are vbulletin defaults:

<meta name="keywords" content="vbulletin,forum,bbs,discussion,jelsoft,bulletin board" />
<meta name="description" content="This is a discussion forum powered by vBulletin. To find out about vBulletin, go to http://www.vbulletin.com/ ." />
You can change those within vbulletin options. SEO it's more than just appearing in the search engines. Give it a try with the tips you can find in this very forum (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=17). They are simple, they are logical, and they are free.
