Just wanted to share my new project with the group:

www.PhotoSharingForum.com

The site has been online for just over 1 week. Still have lots to do, but I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas you may have on how to improve the usability/layout.

The site is built around Creative Commons Licensing. You can upload and share your digital photos with other designers. A "Free Stock Photo" site basically.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks,

I love that skin and it's a great forum idea. I'll be letting a couple of friends know about it ;)

I like the layout of the style, roundes corner, etc. However the colors seem a little bit... um... dull?... for a photography forum. The font is small. Even with my glasses on, I had to squint to read it. Not good, but you can't increase the size because it would make everything looked squished on the fixed style. Speaking of which... I'm also not a big fan of fixed styles, and this is no exception. Again, things look squished. If the body was at even 80% width, it would be better than the narrow width you have now.

What I really do not like is the text at the top of the pages, above the forum body. For me, that just throws the entire thing off balance. This paragraph of text would be much better placed in the welcome header block, beneath the "Welcome to the Photo Sharing Forum".

Having said all that... I could spend alot of time here, being a photographer myself. Don't be surprised if I register, lol.
