Ok if you go here http://www.americaoutloud.org/forum/index.php
I have a thread titled Fantasy Congress
Where it says CLICK TO FIND OUT
I hyperlinked it to www.fantasycongress.us but it will only allow it to go to a internal forum link.
How do I make it so that by clicking there it will take them directly to www.fantasycongress.us
Thanks guys!

I instead just posted the information in a new thread and locked it :)
But there is one thing.. what I wanted to create a permanent block on the home page that explains what the site is about?

Hello.
In order to make this an extenal hyperlink you will need the fully qualified URL including the proper html tags. Here is how to do it:
<a href="http://www.fantasycongress.us">CLICK TO FIND OUT</x>
Replace the </x> with </a> at the end. I used an x here so you can read it.
Done this way it will work anywhere on your system, including forum or message titles.

what laura just said, although it sounds like you have the link already working, you will just need to add http:// to beginning of it
