You saw me asking for skin help... well I got one now! And I love it! With help from our 2 graphic designers and myself we finised the first one! www.thepokeplace.com

And there is more you can check out but they aren't finised. Tell me what you think of it all!

nice job for a first try RC!

That said....... your Post Reply buttons, and I'd imagine that the Closed buttons and the New Thread button (since they go in the same place) aren't matted to the background, nor are they transparent, so they have the white corners around them.

Other than that.. lookin' good!

What about the background?

But they are transparent only saved as a PNG and only like FireFox and IE 7 can handle PNG transparency so I need to make them all GIF

I use IE 6 and usually handle PNG transparencies just fine. I work with them all the time
I don't think so. The PNG transparency issue is a known problem in IE6. It is reportedly resolved in IE7.

you can make them gif, but mat them to the background color so that they appear to be transparent.

Oh as in make the white that dark grey?

As I said, they are transparent, but whatever Internet browser you're using can not handle PNG transparency. That's why I need to make the GIF.

Did you know that you can actually get rid of color on pictures with programs like GIMP and Photoshop as apposed to making it the same color so it looks the same?
