Here's a good idea for a raffle that helps the children.

Here's a raffle that I started the other day. This was an idea that came to mind laying in bed the other night. I got together with a couple manufactures in my board and told them about what I had in mind. They both jumped on the idea. Now, I'm not making one dime for what I'm/we're doing, but I know that I'll sleep better at night knowing some little boy or girl will have a better holiday. My goal is to raise at least $1000.00 for the kids. In a matter of two days, I'm already at 33% of my goal.

This is a very good way to get new people to your site while raising money for those in need.

Seeing as the holiday contest was going very slow, we've decided to do something a little different.

Jorg has been generous enough to donate two cabinets so we can raise money for the "TOY'S FOR TOTS FOUNDATION" (http://www.toysfortots.org/) All proceeds go to help the children.

Just to make the deal a little sweeter, Todd from Pro Cables N Sound has donated two cables to the winner. A 20ft instrument cable and a up to 10ft Canare 4S11 11 gauge speaker cable. They will build the cable with whatever ends and length the winner needs to work their cab and amp combination.

To be fair, if the same name is pulled for both cabs, a new name will be pulled until another name is picked.
So do your part to help a child in need this holiday season.

That's the plan. I don't have any children myself, but I was raised in a poor family. So I know what it's like not getting anything for christmas.

Besides, I have the greatest sponsors on my board. The guy that's donating the cabinets is one of the most giving people I've met on the net. Not to mention I own one of his cabs, and they are top of the line.
