Why is my homepage causing a 404 error?Monika B 11-18-2006, 03:58 AM I am so completely lost on what to do. I have a website that refuses to have its index page be indexed by google (gives a 404 error) and when I go to http://validator.w3.org/ and try to have it analyze my site, it gives me a 404 error also. Ive tried everything I can think of, from removing the .htaccess file to editing the robots.txt file. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to narrow down the problem to figure out whats causing that? Joeychgo 11-18-2006, 07:04 AM whats the site url? | |
