Good SE submission?

Whats a good way to get your site submitted to multiple search engines? I am totally not interested in paid services. Is this just a manual process you should go through with each SE?

manual submission is the best for search engines..

I focus more on submitting to link directories,, if you get good back links, the search engines will find your site ;)

Dont bother with SE submission services. Get some backlinks - the SEs will find you.

One thing you can try: Submit Helper (http://www.submithelper.com/default.aspx)- For like $60 they submit you to several hundered directories. I have done this a few times myself.

Exactly, and you'll get picked up by all the search engines, plust, they are permanant links to your site. Well worth the money. I automatically do this wit any new site I build.

as soon as I make a little more in paypal I'll be using this on my link directory..

while I wait on that, I've been adding a few of my other sites to several of these links...

60$ for 300+ backlinks on SEO friendly sites most with great PR.. can't beat that :)
