I plan to have a forum on May-June next year, a vB one for sure, I've made up my mind because of its feature. Since I am a internet semi-noob that only knows basic HTML and BBcode, I know I will need plenty of help setting up the forum so I came here. Can someone guide me during the progress? I will appreciate it for sure. :)

First of all, can I know what I need to plan to start a forum. I've plan what forum to put in but I know there is more to plan. And what knowledge do I need? HTML, CSS or mySQL, please tell thanks.

For those who guide me, make sure you have patience because I am not sure whether I am a quick learner or not. Thanks again.

Well --

When I started my first forum - I knew NOTHING. I mean NOTHING. The host was good enough to help me set up my first Database - and explain to me how to FTP the files.

Beyond that - 90% of what I learned I learned from forums like this one - asking questions, etc.

Wayne - I started off like you - very limited technical knowledge. So I can confirm that the vB manual is very good at taking you through the process. If you get stuck, just make a post here or at vbulletin.com and I'm sure you'll get the help you'll need.
