Hello,
I am not allowed to run google ads because my web site discusses poker, and google considers poker as gambling. What is the best alternative to the google ads for a forum like mine? Is there something other than ads that you would recommend to me?

Affilliate ads are a possibility. there are also alternative 'adsense like' ad programs available

I do a couple poker affiliate programs banners still. That's more difficult now since many online poker sites stopped taking players from the US and my forums community is mostly from the US. I was just trying the Firefox google bar ad and it seems google blocks that from working for me too. I had tried adbrite and some others in the past but their ads were junk and many would not give me poker related content. Google had no issues getting the content right at least. If I can't find an add that gets the content right, what is the best generic ad program that would be appeals to a wide range people? I do better when I get paid a nice commission per sale (ie: $20) than pennies per click.

I contacted some of those links. Hopefully they will allow me even though I have poker content.
Another ad system we have been talking about is a sponsor links directory.
I'll be starting with a series of free advertising.
If you're interested in offering some discounts/coupons let me know. :)
I'm looking and see a few links and maybe using a classifieds ads system is more appropriate?

theres a site who will take basicly anyone....here : https://www.etology.com/ there one problem....there really low paing per clik eg. this is for june(this month)
