Is there anything I can add to my forums to keep Adsense from displaying a particular subject of ads? My forum is called "Bike Talk" but its actually about motorcycles (aka bikes), not bicylces. All the ads keep coming in as bicycle ads. I've tried adding each site I see pop up relating to bicycles to my Google Ad Filter, but more keep coming through. Is there somewhere I can add something to tell Google that this is a motorcycle site and not for bicycles?

Whats your Site?

Try doing these 2 things:

Title and Description Changes for Better SEO (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5182)

and

Adding H1 Tags to your Forum (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8)

WOW, probably some of the best advice I've received from any of the vB forums! I already started making some of the recommended changes and it really opened my eyes to what all that code means. It's already made a difference on many pages in my forum. The only part I didn't use in your Adding H1 Tags (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8) thread was [title_clean] piece. Many of my members have a habit of posting all lowercase titles which looked strange when displayed. The description tag looks better for me. I'd actually like to make this alteration show up in the description box, but that will be another day.

BTW, my forum is Bike Talk (http://bike-talk.com/forum)

Thanks,
Ken

This works great. Can you tell me where I could edit the attributes of the title that appears in the title box at the top of showthread? I'd like to edit the title there and make it H1 rather than delete it as described under Adding H1 Tags.

That sounds like a great idea. Then the format won't get all messed up.
