peggy...

just to let you know, I did purchase VB today under your link, and im just about
to install and setup VB...I expect to get VBseo under your link tomorrow.

Can anyone offer first time setup advice?? any issues should i know
right off the bat?? some of you exp VB users would know.

the forum will be Business Opportunity related, and other topics as well,
any good spam mods out there? im sorta worried about multiple topic
spamming in the forums...

I will list the forum URL once I actually get VB installed.

David as long as you put the correct database information in the config.php file, you should have no problems. A fresh install is relatively easy. If you do run into a snag, holler back here. I'll be here til about 3:15 EST, when I leave for work.

Yes, lol... vB right out of the box is very plain. Assuming that you want to change the appearance, you'll need a new skin. Easy to install.
A few places you might look for free skins are... right here ar vbFAQ in the 3.6 skins section, also Miner Skinz (http://www.minerskinz.com), Themes By Design (http://www.themesbydesign.net).

If you don't find anything there, and don't mind paying for a skin, click on the vBSkinworks link on the side column front page of this forum.

There are a multitude of modifications and hacks that you can add, but I wouldn't til after you get some members, and then, only what you need.
