I'm sorry Chase, but I'm going to have to be a bit brutal here, so I'll ask for your forgiveness in advance.

Talk DE skin -

First thing I can see right off the bat - on the portal page, please put a <br/> between the bottom of your adsense and the top of the modules. I hate seeing the ads sitting right on top of them like that. Same thing with adsense sitting on top of your shoutbox on forum home. A <br /> please.

What is the deal with the right side column on forumhome? It's completely out of line with both the guest welcome header and the forum body. That really looks wacky, imo.

I also don't like the postbit. The beveled image on the alt1 and alt2 is nice on the forumhome, but looks not so nice in the postbit. All that beveling breaks up the flow and continuity of the posts.
And that adsense again... put a <br /> beneath that thing! :)

On the dark DE skin, the lack of adsense ads-related problems is a very good thing.
However, that's not your saving grace, because I just don't like this skin.

Too many graphical images kills dial-up internet users, The beveling of alt 1 and alt 2 tears up the postbit.

Maybe if I look at it when I'm in a better mood, I'll have a different opinion.

Sorry!

i may need help with figuring that out, but i agree

are you seeing a horizontal postbit? thats what i see, and i dont see the problem, could you elaborate?

i got this skin in a package with my license. its good for a dark skin. and if i have overwhelming demand for a fast loading skin, i already have one ready, but i rather limit it to 2 so i dont have to edit more skins when i add a hack

above post, deals with some of it. heres the rest.

ok i added breaks to the adsense

i really need a hand in trying to line up the right column on forumhome, any ideas fellow gfx people?

im leaving the alt1 and 2 for now in postbit, i took them out and IMO it looked worse, also tried goin legacy, the vertical looks really bad...lol

What are you using for the sidecolumn? Is it the sidecolumn hack from vb.org? It seems to be a coding tag causing it.

ah. that's why. I tried peterska's right side column on a new forum install and never could get the silly thing to line up right. We went with the left column, and had no problem.

I would say you have to look in the FORUMHOME template for the fix.

ok i took Peg's advice, left side column is on and lined up :) I think i like it better anyway, so that good

i seperated the info from the ads with <br>'s, so thats good

all i think i need still is to tweak the font colors, which im horrible at :(

anyone know why vba_cmps would eat my breadcrumbs on the portal page? i asked there and have been thoroughly ignored :x grrrrrrrr

Hey, now that is looking really good.
I've never seen the breadcrumb disappear like that. Have you asked at vBSkinworks?
Someone there may be able to help.
