Problem with column width

Ever since I changed my site to postbit legacy, I'm having a problem with the PM templates. The message box stretches out to the right and breaks past the border (I have a fixed width forum). A screen shot is attached.

I assume I have to edit a template to fix this. If so, which template and how do I fix it?

Alternatively, is it possible to make the Control Panel horizontal and put it above the message box?

Which control panel above what message box?

It looks as tho this skin was designed specifically for the vertical postbit. :(
You'll have to get ahold of the skin designer and ask them what to do.

Oops, sorry. I think my terminology is off. :p

I meant the "Control Panel" on the left side of the screen, where you can edit your signature, options, avatar, etc.

If I can't fix this problem, I was wondering if there was a way to make this Control Panel horizontal and put it right under the navbar.

And by the way, this is not a "skin"--it's just color modification in the Main CSS. But I'm flattered that you think it looks good enough to moonlight as a skin! :)

If it's not a skin, then you should be able to make the forum wider, by adjusting the width in the StyleVars section of the style. However, unless the header is fluid, mean expandable width-wise, then you can't do that, either. To me, that makes it a skin :)

I know of no way to make that control panel horizontal, without recoding the template. That doesn't mean there isn't one, just that I don't know of one :)

Ack. Ok, thanks Peggy. I will keep trying. :o
