I'm having a problem, and I hope this is the right place to ask... I can't get any answers at vB Advanced for a couple of days now.
When I upgraded my forum to 3.5.4, I got this error for the portal:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: print_portal_output() in /home/exquisi/public_html/forums/portal.php on line 35
any ideas?

Did you update to vB Advanced CMPS 2.1.0?

as if it couldn't get ANY worse... I go to the vB Advance website to d/l the upgraded one, and................. the zip file comes up empty. SOOOO, I post on the forum that the zip is empty. A mod says if I'm using a pc rather than a mac, to choose zip and use either a standard zip program like winzip (I have and did) or the windows xp zip feature. Well.,.. when you click on download, winzip automatically pops up... I don't have a choice.
grrrrrrrrrrrr. I have to go get ready for my evening out.... I wonder if someone could download it for me and email it to me? purty please? pgurney@zoominternet.net

Sounds like you forgot to edit global.php or install a hook. I don't remember exactly how we do it now. Or perhaps didn't upload an includes file.

the cmps was working just fine, I've had it for 2 months now... til I upgraded vB to 3.5.4 last week... only then did it quit working. So I'm just going to delete it all and do it all over again

like noppid said, sounds like you forgot to edit the global.php file ;) I'd look over the vba install, I'm sure you'll find your answer there

Loco you helped me install the cmps a couple of months ago, lol. It's been working fine til I upgraded vB to 3.5.4 last week and there weren't any instructions there about editing anything on the cmps.

You no longer have to edit the global.php file with the 3.5 version of vba. Try completely uninstalling it using the uninstall routine that comes with it. Delete all the files. Reload all the files and reinstall it...see if that helps.
