Looking For vB Designer/Coder

Dear vB Legends,

I have a project coming up involving a vB forum and considering I'm pretty poor at design work myself, I'm looking for some talent to help me out.

A fresh, non-web-savvy-friendly design is what I need. Think big and clear buttons, important navigational elements easy to find etc. Accessibility is important so it's important they can increase font size etc. via the browser and your CSS isn't doing fixed sizes etc. The users will largely be people fairly new to the web so it has to be inviting, not daunting. Less is more.

I'm not looking to win any design awards but don't like standard design tweaks either. Functionality has top priority though. Portability to future vB versions is also important.

Besides the looks, I have a few functionality needs I will discuss with you privately. I can show some examples on another forum. It involves the members being able to select some products they use and then they'll show in their profile. Nothing overly complicated. Also a spin on that where a bit of code scans the post content for product names from a white-list and if found, hyperlinks them automatically to an e-commerce site. Plug-ins must already exist but if not, I know PHP very well so together we should be able to nut it out easily.

Main job is the design though, the hacks can come later.

Let me know a rough price and show me some work you've done. Timescale wise, I'm looking to go live in 2 weeks or so.

font size adjustable from the user-end? On a vB forum? Not happening.
At least, it's not possible as far as I know. If you find someone that can do that, I'd like to know how!

Really? I have a slick Microsoft keyboard with a zoom toggle and if I zoom in and out here on vb-faq, the font size changes just fine. Same if I go FireFox -> View -> Font Size -> Increase. That's the ability I need.

Maybe it wasn't clear what I meant. I had heard that if you hardcode font sizes, browsers can't override it, which is bad for accessibility.

well sure it's possible by zooming in and out, lol.

I had some interest but none of them followed through.

Still looking! This is obviously paid so hopefully better luck now. There must be some willing vB designers here on vB FAQ who fancy getting to paid to show off their skill!

Do you look for a designer or a coder or both? If you look for a coder, pm me.

Thanks, but the design is more urgent than the coding part. I've put it on GAF now, thanks all for your interest.
