On one of our forums I want to turn off the live links in the signature... so I went into VB admin >>>Usergroups >>> Selected the "Members" User Goup >>> Allow Link BBCode
When I set "Allow Link BBCode" to "NO" .... memebers still have links in their sigs! What am I doing wrong and how can I get the sig links off my board???
thanks!

The rules are not retroactive, for that you might need to run a query, I'm not sure if there is an automated query in the maintenance menu but you might want to check it.

There is nothing else to say that I know of, smindsrt, lol. Hell3 is absolutely correct.
The change is not retroactive. The links that are already there, are there. The change you made only will work for future sig links.

Thanks Pegs.
I checked my list of automated queries and didn't found anything to help you, sorry. You might have to say your admins and supermods to remove links manually or ask at vbulletin.com if there is any manual query that can be run to help you.

Well... when they posts it's still in there sig. If they go an edit their sig... will it tell them they cannot have links???

Not sure smindsrt. You may need to ask about this at vb.com.

Yes it will. Once a attempts to edit their signature it will force them to follow the new rules for their usergroup.
