I really wish that one of you more experienced style designers would write a tutorial on creating styles. Specifically how to know what width to make the fancy tops of your style

Actually as most of B-B members know i started a vB designing course there when i was admin but due to some bad things happenend i couldnt continue it, maybe if time permits i will restart the course in near future...

I do notice a small bug, the forum logo image links to the same page. It doesn't take you back to forum home. Is there a simple fix?

Danny the logo is linked to the main page of your forum. That's vB default. I went to almost all of your forums and clicked on the logo, took me right back to the main forum page. Did you want it to be linked to something else?

that's weird, I was just on my forum and clicked the logo it just refreshed the page.. Maybe its a firefox thing.

You cannot see my pointer but it's over the logo image, if you look at firefoxes status bar that's the address its pointing to.

Hun, I'm thinkin' that this just may be a FF issue. Because I went to the Laugh House area in your forum and clicked on the logo, and it took me right back to the main forum page. I wish I could help, but I don't know a thing about FF

I think you're right.. I got a hold my sisters laptop it displayed correct in firefox and IE on Windows. I guess it's something to do with the Gekco engine on Linux.

Normally windows is the problem. LOL :D I've been using Linux for sometime on my personal computer.. I leave it on for weeks at a time, never crashes.

Very nice! I can't figure out what I'm going wrong though. I uploaded all the graphics to the graphics folder, and changed the title/logo, but none of it seems to show up. Any ideas on what I did wrong? I didn't set it as a child of my Default forum, could that be it?

cookie, the problem is that you don't have the graphics in the correct directory.
Miners' styles are coded to go into your images -->> then styles folder. If you don't have one, make one.

lol... no problem. His was one of the first styles I installed when I made the change from phpbb to vB.
I did the same thing, so that's how I knew ;)

Hi Miner...I got my review back from TAZ and this is what the reviewer said about the layout and the skin.

The style goes funny for me once the page loads. The welcome message loads in the center then lands on the left - not sure what the problem is with that but if it helps this review is being done on ie browser.

I notice you have made changes in my design, maybe change the style width to 100% as i have set to 80%...

I did change it to 100% once, but then the nav bar doesn't spread out with it.

AWWWWWWWWWW I AM MUCH CONFUSED :confused: miner is developing so much skins, my mind says this one, then i see another and it says leave first one choose this one :confused: then again n again, bro u did a wonderful job love you :) and i really mean it, i can't explain :), u did the best , and confusing ppl by variety is the fantastic thing, appreciable, you are a hero in skins :), Wish Ya Good Luck for your FUTURE :)
