New colors to buttons

Hrmm...

Okay, I I have Paint Shop Pro - not Photoshop.

I'm trying to change the colors of the following buttons:

I'm trying to keep them as gifs. The problem is, I don't know how to use this program to do it!

I'm trying to make them fit to match the following color schemes:

http://www.pandemicstudios.com/forum/images/buttons_mercs2/quote.gif

Although to be honest, the font on those last two should be the teal color that's present in the asterisk and such.

Might anyone be willing and able to help me out?

Alastor, have you downloaded the vB graphics set from vbulletin.com? I don't have the link offhand but you can download the entire set of default vB images, in PSD format of course.

I also use Paint Shop Pro and am unable to open most of the psd's, including the buttons.

I'll give that a try. I've been just saving the raw images and working from those. Managed to get the buttons made that I needed, but I'm no expert, that much has become clear already.
