is there a way to add a banner (468x60) into this area here?

im doin this template for a guy and he wants a ad banner placement there......

Yup

In header template find:


 

Replace with:


<a href="YOURLINKHERE" target="_blank"><img src="YOURLINKHERE" border="0"></a>

Or your other option is to recode the header.

how about add a banner with link........468x60 image thats linked to xyz page

still havent got around to adding it, i think it'll work though
