Preview versions of 3.6.6 have been running on a number of forums for the last few weeks as well as vbulletin.com - and Jelsoft have announced today that all being well, it will be officially released this Friday May 11th.
More details of this and the status of other projects can be found here (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=229238).
vbulletin.org will be upgrading to version 3.6.6 as soon as we have the time after the official release.

I would encourage everyone to upgrade to 3.6.6 when it's released. I've read about the bug fixes in this version, and new features, on vb.com. IMO, "major upgrade" is a bit of an understatement.
Of course you should always do a db backup when you upgrade, but this is especially important with this upgrade due to the db changes that will be made.

I've been holding off on a whole lot of reorganising until the next big upgrade. I guess for me crunch time is coming.
It's going to be a busy weekend.
