I think after you've spent some time with it, you will find that it actually is easy to use. It just has a different feel than what you may have been used to using.

Vbulletin is much different. Not like any other forum softwareThe only other forum software I ever used was phpBB2 and the biggest difference I found was vB being better in every way. Sure, I had to re-learn the way to do certain things, but the learning curve wasn't so steep.

Different versions are each very differentWhen I made the move from 3.0 to 3.6 (yeah, yeah, I was lazy, I know), things seemed a bit different, but once again I found all the changes to be for the better.

Dont swich versions as soon as you get settled on oneI look at this from a different angle. I have finally managed to get myself into the habit of upgrading to the latest version as soon as I am able. That ensures I am running the latest and most secure version.

Do not keep files like passwords online, Hackers can use these
Excellent advice for anyone, indeed!

Try not get too angry about vbulletin. It wont do you any good. The only time I ever get angry is when the vB software is doing what I tell it to do, rather than what I want it to do. ;)
