Hiya!

First let me ask... did you copy your config.php info over from the old config file to the new one that comes in 3.6.6? Actually you should be trying to upgrade to 3.6.7, as there is a fairly serious security flaw in 3.6.6.

When you say you followed the instructions, do you mean you edited the config.php file in the 3.6.6 package?

You really should copy your database name, master database username and password over from the 3.5.3 config.php to the 3.6.6 config.php file and use it, as there are some slight changes in the config file since 3.5.3.

I also advise you, again, to upgrade to 3.6.7 PL1, as there is an important security fix. There are no template changes in the upgrde from 3.6.6 to 3.6.7 PL1

Hun, I really can't help you since I can't see your config file. Would you be willing to email me your config file?

I got it. There's nothing wrong with your config file. Glad to see you're going to 3.6.7 ;)
Did you rename the config file from config.php.new to config.php?
