I have a question, heres a snipet of my code, its on forum home sidecolumn 120x600 skyscraper
auctionads_ad_width = "120";
auctionads_ad_height = "600";
auctionads_ad_kw = "Digital Camera; Electronic; Sony; Purse; Shoe";
auctionads_color_border = "3E88C9";
does that look ok? every 3rd refresh or so i get no ads, then once it doesn't show a ad, it stops showing them all together......wassup with that?
Also aren't the pics suppose to show up on the ad boxes? i get blank polaroid images....
i have to go in and edit the KW phrase, save and reload in ACP, then it shows up again.....im confused!!!!

I had the same issue, actually. I copied the code and saw an ad one time and that was it.
I finally deleted the code from the template, logged back into Auction Ads, copied fresh code, inserted it and everything is working fine. <shrug> I have no clue what was wrong the first go-round.

what is my campaign ID? i have to add it to the hack that rewrites the URL's
where do i find it?
i have my account number, but i need my campaign number

answered, for others reference
To get campaign number
add a campaign in usercp on auctionads
then go to make a code
then select the campaign in dropdown
it will show the number in the code.
i just figured it out :)

Exactly.
FYI - a campaign is like an adsense channel. Its a way for you to track how a specific cad location is doing independant of the total. So if you have 1 site, maybe you have a showthread campaign, a forumhome campaign, a forumdisplay campaign, an archive campaign.

i have:
"forumhome" for my sidebar on forumhome
"thread/post display" for the little ones on forum and thread display
"rewrite" for the rewrite hack

I've not had any problems with mine at all. Took me a while to figure out how to create a campaign.
That taught me not to do this stuff while UTI :rolleyes:
