Display Recent Threads on Non VB Page Error [Archive]

I followed the instructions on this thread:

Enabled java output in my ACP, and for awhile things were working fine. It was displaying my most recently threads. After that I made some modifications to the external.php so it would link usernames and it stopped displaying the threads all together.

So I went back and undid the changes and restored the file but it still would not display the threads.

I have now gone back and made sure I have uploaded a stock external.php to ensure my old one isnt still there. No avail though. Any suggestions?

Ah I figured it out. The results were cached in externaldata. I just had to clear the cache and changed the update time from 60 minutes to 1.
