About time for a Yahoo update?

Yahoo is a mess if you ask me. Their search engine still has 301 redirected pages listed in their search engine months after I added the 301 redirect.

Google now only shows the correct pages.

If Yahoo wants to gain respect from webmasters they need to start spending their time fine tuning their search engine to not waste their space with pages that don't exist!

I suspect we are in for a big yahoo update sometime in the near future... Ive noticed the same things and I suspect they are gearing up for an update thats bigger then normal, hence why its taking so long.

it's a real pain in the petushie (aren't I nice?) to do a search and click on links only to come up with the "page does not exist" crap...

Whats more, try Yahoo Video - many of the movies are BLOCKED by the host sites.

I am a long time fan of yahoo... email, chat, search, IM (anyone wanna talk on IM? I'm bored). But dadgum, enough already. Google search has them beat by a mile or more now. They need to get it in gear if they want to get back to the top again

I realise you guys across the pond get news long before we do, but I heard that Microsoft is in partnership somehow with Yahoo and has declared its imminent intention to take on Google - big time. Anyone able to confirm this?

I use to use yahoo a Lot, I had 1,000's of ID"s and enjoying exploiting yahoo with them..lol

as for search, google is the only one to use.. I use msn, yahoo, many that I'll see in this list
