Does anyone offer banners on their sites?

If so how much do you charge?

Are there any general guidelines out there to follow?

thanks

No real guidelines. Depends on the type of site, the amount of traffic and stuff like that. I have automotive sites, so people often spend a good amount money when they order parts. I also have a very busy site in a niche market. Thus, I can get a premium amnount for my banners.

Joey pretty much spelled it out. As a buyer of banners, I want to know how many uniques you get per month on your site and how many pageviews. I then want to know how many banners you will have in rotation and exactly where they will be. Any demographic information is just icing on the cake.

By the way, your logo is nice, but the filesize was huge (over 50k). I compressed it down to less than 17k and retained most perceptible quality. I had to keep it a .jpg though. If you have the original .psd, I could get it much smaller as a .png

Anyway, the new image is attached. Feel free to use it if you want.

thanks for the compressed banner!

Is there a good rotator script that also works with flash banners?

that's pretty large tho isn't it? Isn't the standard banner size something like 460 x 80? or is that 468 x 60? whatever it is...

yeah sorry,
I noticed after my post this thread was about estimating how much your banner space was worth, not asking how much one is to make.

that's ok, I was thinking of moving that banner over to your thread with your others banners in it

You can get a good estimate by checking Adword bids.
