Banning Words with Spaces

I suppose technically I mean banning phrases. I have a very small censored word list. I have 3 words, trying to add a 4th. What I would like to do I have f-bombs with spaces in them *'ed out too. For example, {1 2 3 4} Wow, I'm trying really hard to keep this clean. Anyways, inside the {}'s done work, and I tried escaping the spaces too {1\ 2\ 3\ 4} no joy. Any ideas? Is it even possible?

Even if, via a hack, you could achieve it, the offending parties will use two spaces, or - ' $ etc.

This is a social problem. Start handing out the warnings and infractions, I think.
