How can i check how fast a style loads for dailup.

Ok, this one forum i'm on uses a style that is based on sliced up graphics (is that right ???) and not your normal css stuff. Dial up members complain of slow loading and i get a slight hesitation using cable broadband, how could i check it from a dial up point of view.
