I like what I see -- thanks!
Miner - Might want to capitolize the "Friendly Admin Forums" and add "Free" to vB Skins, Styles and Graphics.
Standard size banner is 468x60
and a small one like 350 x 25 would be nice. Kinda like vbhackers has (for signatures): See Below
Static and Animated would be great.
I thought it would be nice to put up a page where people could get banners if they wanted to link to us. So any and all sizes would be good. I would love to have a page full of different variations that people can use.

all sounds good! I took the header at the top of the page for mine, but at 468 x 60, there's no way to use it without adding to it as miner has done.. I'll work on some tonight after work.
I don't do animations, so I'll leave that to these talented people ;)
That signature one of vBHackers is too small, ugh

I LOVE this miner! Just capitalize admin and forums in the first frame and it's perfect imo.
I just really do not like that tagline beneath vBulletin-FAQ, I keep asking Joey to get John to change that, lol

oh I understand that hun. It's a jpg, so if it's ok with John, I could change it. It's easy.
As you can see, I changed it for the banners I did

Ok Joey, i will redo the banner as suggested with different sizes later today...
Sorry this took a little longer than anticipated Joey, but this is based on a concept I did a few months ago. Shout if you like it and would want it worked on further...

I agree completely! It looks pretty good - needs touch up - Maybe more white on the right side - but its pretty good.

Thought I'd chuck in something. An old design and done a quick modification to the image. Not sure it's suits this type of forum though use it if you want. (below)

Ok - Here is the start of the page for the banners....
vBulletin FAQ Banners (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/LinkMe.php)
Looking Good!
Here are a few sizes I think we need:
120x120
234x60
125x125
Also - I would LOVE to see some 468x60s that really are HOT and have some neat effects.
For example - the adwords banner has a cool look I think...
http://www.google.com/images/adsense/US_468x60_black_adwords_b.gif
I still would really like one or two like this if someone would be so kind:

A simple way is if you're linking use HTML code to specifiy a board around linked images.
Once I get WDB off the ground, I'll be starting a computer help site.. one of these banners is going up! :)

yup I know about the html border. I'm just talking about putting a border around the image so there's one on it even if not linked.
Good luck on your computer site... noppid runs a very successful one as well

Is it me - ir is there an uneven line on the bottom?
Love the general look though.

errr -- this is a great start... But -- its very large (130k)
Maybe have the ball only travel with the "vbulletin faq" - instead of seperately. Also - how about "vBulletin" Skins, Styles and Graphics...

You might want to use a pixel font. I find that using anti-aliased fonts on designs such as these look a little distorted due to it being crammed in suh a small area.

wich font do you recomend?Have a look on this free fonts page (http://www.fryfonts.com/?page=search&op=category&start=0&q=Bitmap%20Fonts) and perhaps select the 04b_20 - it's a very nice font!
Here's some (http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=301&page=1&af=on&text=REPLY) more free (http://members.surfeu.fi/zwak/fonts/freewareen20.html) font sites while we are at it :)
