Looking for Blog/Journal

Hello-

I'm looking for a blog or journal I can add to the member profiles of a VB forum. What are the good ones??? Does anyone use them??? I would love to see a fee installed. :)

Yes they get used. Look at the number of Wordpress blogs.

There is one available now, for sale at www.vblogetin.com (http://www.vblogetin.com).
However, if you want to wait a few weeks, hopefully the vB Blog that the developers of vBulletin are working on will be available.

I looked at a handful of forums that use vBlogetin... and I'm not sure. It seems like if you want to get to someone's blog you need to go to some blog directory. Isn't there an easy way to integrate this with the current profiles???

I don't know, as far as vBlogetin is concerned. You'd have to ask on that forum.
However, I do believe that the new vB Blog will be integrateable (is that a word??) with members' profiles.

When a member creates a vBlogetin blog a link will appear to it under "additional information" in their profile. It also appears under their Birthday and Instant Messenger icons in their posts. I forget if these need to be manually added to the templates or if it was an automated part of the blog install.

The Blog Directory is there, so you can view all the members' blogs.

As Raymond mentioned, visit a member's profile and the link to their blog is located there, as well as in their postbit.

Where else would you like to see it?
