Ok this is a sad question and I AM seriously asking it. How do I figure out the forumid? I can figure out userids and usergroup ids but lost on this one.

login to your ACP > Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager.
On the right, click to edit a forum. On the next page, you'll see the forum ID at the top of the forum info.

Sounds more like something my hubby gets to fix tomorrow. I didn't even use this computer this weekend, I normally don't on weekends. Oh well I got the cool hack working! Woohooo now to find out if this welcome auto thread starter works on 3.6.7. I'll be sure to announce here when we launch.

You can also find it by hovering your mouse over a forum and looking at the f=# link brings up.

What's wrong with Mozilla as a default web browser? :)

Nothing is wrong with it! It is my default browser! BUT! I use it to make sure everything looks good in explorer and I also use it to login my test account on my forum so I don't have to log out of my admin account on mozilla. BUT with explorer opening in mozilla I can't login into my test account on it obviously so this is a GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like its just your shortcut that had it's properties changed to open IE instead. Right click on the IExplorer icon and select Properties. The target should be "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" (w/o quotes) and the 'Start In:' box should have something like "%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%" (without the quotes).

ok well all that is correct. NOW, when I right click in explorer it says its a firefox document? But I'm in explorer ugh. Here is what I recently did. I upgraded to 7 and had nothing but errors so uninstalled it and then this recently started happening.
