The hot new dance music and events website!
History...
I'd always been a software developer and ran big (1000+) dance music events in my spare time. Eventually I found that their was not big Trance/Hard Dance/Rave community website. Nothing that would build a community like i needed to support big dance parties here in Sydney Australia.
Eventually started developing the website and as it grew switched from phpbb to vBulletin :)
What's special about the site?
Custom Content Management System with hooks into vBulletin. This is based on J2EE, JSF , Spring and Hibernate
Web 2.0 CMS system. Users can add and change anything they want. All updates are workflowed by staff.
Classifications change the look n feel and information displayed on the site for each individual user. If you are in Melbourne and like House music thats what content you will see. If you like Trance and are in Sydney then thats what content you'll see.
Notification engine keeps members notified of updates to their favourite djs, new music downloads and events that they may be interested.
Syncronisation with vBulletin forums and user management through vBulletin.
Enhanced CMS SEO engine. All content is readily search able via all major search engines.
