View Full Version : cancelled by google.....
i was with google adsense for almost 2 years. i was earning several hundred dollars a month with them. all of the sudden and for no apparent reason, they terminated my account, giveing an explination of invalid clicks. unfortunatly for me, i dont even know what invalid clicks are. i filed their appeal and was denied again.
i miss my adsense. i have been trying a bunch of other advertising companies, none of them are performing nearly as well as google did. :(
*** just wanted to share my grief and frustration ***

I went through this once, but I won my account back, a rarity. My guess, they are on the rampage again, cancelling accounts everywhere. I ahve heard a few of these stories lately.
Wow, I didn't know that happens often. I clicked on my own ad yesterday on accident, and hope that they won't be upset . I don't make hardly any money, my site is new.

ppfffttt - my site is almost 1 year old and I haven't made $1 from them. Seriously thinking about removing adsense from my site.

Never click your own ads. Never encourage you members to click your ads.

I've hardly made anything from adsense on my forum, yet my other content site does very well. Maybe content sites perform better. In any case, NEVER click on your own ads or make statements on your site encouraging visitors to click on anything. If Google thinks you are pushing visitors to make a click thats not natural then you can end up banned. Your best bet is to do a clean up and reapply in a month or two.
like you said, they must be on a rampage. i never clicked my own ads, and never encouraged. i knew all these rules going in.
maybe you guys that arent making any money from yours can put some links on my site and share the profits.....lol

I was a boy scout with adsense and got booted. Oh well. I offset the income and I don't have the big G looming over me anymore. It sucked at the time, but now as I watch people tremble over G income and trying to please the big G, I wonder if it was for the best?
noppid....are you using another service now for income from your site ? any success ?? im looking for a viable alternative. ive tried several, none seem to compare in income.

if you click on your own ads.. best case senerio will be a warning.. worse case.. removal
If you even so much as even hint that your members should click on the ads..You will be removed.
excessive clicks by any one IP in a short amount of time.. will cause google to look

that totally sucks. Just email them , politely, and ask why you got banned. Just have some ettiquete in your email and there's a good chance you'll get your acct back
