Another Question

This may be confusing so bare with me purdy please. I am going to offer some business owner their own forum section on my forum. I think I'm making this to hard.

Do you think I should make them moderators or just give them special access masks? If I make them a moderator I only want them to be able to moderate that one section of the forum.

What do you think is the best way to give someone the power to only edit one section of the forum?

I've actually been contemplating the same thing. I set up a special Sponsors forum and then created child forums within it. Then in Forum and Moderators > Forum Manager you just select "Add Moderator" for that particular child forum and add the member who will moderate.

Is that what you were after?

As long as these people can't moderate other sections then yes lol that's what I'm looking for. I need to set this up asap because I already have 2 buyers ugh

If you make a member a mod for 1 specific forum, then no, they can't moderate any other forum.

I would make a new usergroup and define the permissions.
