Im looking for the mod you have here and on vbulletin.org.

The download mod. The one where you have to press "installed" in order to be able to download the item.

Where can I find it and more importantly what is the name of it?

OK. I'll bite. What does vb.org use? And is it available for us to download and install?
And what are the key differences between GARS and the vb.org product?

I don't know for absolute sure, but i believe the download system on .org is custom-coded for .org. I've seen someone ask over there where to d/l it and they were told it wasn't available for download.

Which is fine with me, I like GARS better. With GARS, you can set it to require the click of the Install button before they're able to download, which is how we have it set here :)

I'm not Paul, but to me, his comment was fair. The original poster asked what is the mod used here AND at vb.org. Someone said GARS, and it appeared to me that Paul was merely clarifying that it ISN'T in fact used here AND there.

Of course, it would've been nice if he went the extra mile and offered what WAS used, even if he said "we use a custom-developed mod that's not available." But from what I've read in the past, many such things appear to be "top secret" over there. Frustrating. ;)

^^this was true, but Princeton has done a great job of releasing a lot of his mods that he made for vb.org. I use a few of what he has released on nysports365.com including GT Custom Pages and the UserCP mod both of which he has installed on vb.org.

I have no idea what your problem or beef is, but this moan is completely unjustified - The poster asked what was used here and vb.org, the reply was GARS, I simply made it clear that wasn't what we used, in case they weren't sure.

Last I checked I was not restricted in what I can post here. If this is a problem then feel free to remove me, I can go elsewhere.
