Is it possible to create a watched usergroup

Ok hoping I have posted in the right place, apologies if not.

My question is this, is it possible to create a usergroup for troublesome members whereby I can be sent email notifications whenever a member of this usergroup posts on any of my forum boards. I do not wish to premoderate this group, but I would like to know where these members were posting and when so that I could keep a better eye on them.
I wanted to create an identical usergroup to my existing registered members so that a member who was moved into this usergroup would not necessarily know that they were being monitored :(

hmmmm that's an interesting question, not one I've come across before.
I'm not quite sure how you'd do this, or if you can.

Any ideas, anyone?

Depending on the group name syntax rules, maybe you could have a trailing space after the user group name, that would not be visible.

Add them to a secondary usergroup created for the purpose and they wouldn't know. The bit I'm not sure about would be how to get your email notification working for that secondary usergroup.

I use this, it logs members activities on the forum. I made a hidden forum where all logs go. It's not all that great though IMO, hard to go through and the logs are posts - attributable to a member.

I had the log posts attributed to my account, and this member was quite active and so every time he posted, searched etc my post count went up by 1.

I deleted this members logs and my post count dropped.

:) Ok thanks. Something to bear in mind, I guess I might just have to resign myself to the fact that creating a watched usergroup might be more aggro than it's worth, lol ;)
