Vistor numbers

Hi everyone,
I am a newbie here. I have done a search trying to find the answer I am looking for but came up empty.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to have your visitor numbers look higher than actual.Is there a setting that can delay updating of the numbers?

I would like it to show more than it is.We have competitors that I beleive are showing more than actual.

Any help would be greatley appreciated,
