Trouble displaying ads in IE7?

Hi all,
I'm using OpenAds to serve my AuctionAds banners in the mix with my Adsense and private banners. The AuctionAds banners show fine every time in FireFox2, but in IE7 I'm having a lot of trouble getting them to show. My other ads are all showing up ok. Has anyone else seen this issue? I'm on vB 3.6.7 PL1 (not sure if that's relevant or not) and you can test it for yourself at http://www.nestreetriders.com

I run IE7 and was able to see your Auctions ads just fine. However, I did notice, after refreshing my browser 24 times, aads came up only about every 8 refreshes. The rest were all google ads. About the 3rd time through, I did get an error where aa should have been. But that's been happening to everyone.

I have the google ads running with a higher priority so they should show more often, but yes that error is the behavior I'm seeing as well. When I test in FireFox I do not see that error at all, which is why I figured it was an IE issue.

I just tested your site in FF and IE7 and saw the same issue as Peggy described. It seems to be an AuctionAds issue as sometimes it does display fine in IE.

A good test would be to load the adcode directly onto a blank HTML file and test whether it still happens. I don't believe Openads is causing the issue, but you can make sure by viewing the adcode in IE7 without using Openads. Also it shouldn't be any issue with vBulletin

I just tested it here: www.nestreetriders.com/auctionads.html Three ads being served directly (not via OpenAds) on a static html page, all of which load properly every time with FF, but not with IE7. The ads also display much slower with IE than FF.

So, not an OpenAds issue (I didn't think it was), most likely not an AuctionAds issue (it works perfect in FF), which leaves door #3. I'll have to test IE6 and see if it's any better.

I've confirmed that the same issue is happening with IE6, even with the test link in my previous post. I guess I'm going to put a hold on AuctionAds for a while, I don't make much money from ads as it is, so I can't afford blank ads in the mix. :(

As of this week, this issue seems to be non-existant! I've re-enabled AuctionAds on my site and so far it's running great. :)
