This site is an Affiliate of Auction Ads...like most of us paying attention to this forum are. Beyond that, Joey does seem to have some strange connections at the top, but I'm pretty sure he's not getting paid any differently then the rest of us...it's just his buddy list has a few fancy names on it.

Somethings Fishy , As long as my auction ads make more money than the google ads ,,,which there not , and face down the Yahoo ads im about to drop they will stay on my board if not then I think that the auction ads should Pay minimal per impression , more per click then extra per sale ,

I have amazon ads and there about worthless

No, I am not getting paid any differently. I am just like the rest of you.

Let me explain why I support AuctionAds. Its because of one simple reason. I believe that for most forums, it can be a strong revenue stream. As forum owners, most of our traffic is repeat traffic. Its well established that our members rarely click ads such as adsense or YPN.

But AuctionAds can be directly targetted to our members and offer our members something of value to them. You can also set AA ad units to open in a new window instead of taking our traffic away from our site.

In the end, I believe AA can do more for most forums then adsense does. My personal experience with AA proves this as I make more now from AA then adsense on my forums sites.

Now, understand, I am just as frustrated as you guys are with the problems AA has had of late. But I know the problems are being worked on and looked into. I also know things take time. You have a whole new group of people working on it now, and thats a double edged sword. These new people have to figure out all the code and learn how it all works, but they have fresh perspective and fresh enthusiasm as well as fresh capitol.

SO expect things to be problematic for awhile, but I fully expect that in 6 months time, AA will be running smooth and these probelms will be distant memories.

As far as my connections. I know alot of people. I've been doing this for awhile and have met many people, online and off. But as far as payments, im no different then any of you. Jeremy contacted me way back when about AA and I ran with it. I honestly believe that AA just grew way to fast for Jeremy and he was a bit out of his element. The sale to MediaWhiz should be great for AA. It was the right thing for Jeremy to do in my opinion.

I consider vBFAQ an authority site for vB owners, and think of it as my responsibility to let people know about new things and help them make those new programs work for them. Thats why I support AA and why I strive to give you guys all the helpful hints I can and look for new ways to make it better.
