Featured Forum Contest Finalists - TIME TO VOTE!

Thank you all for entering the contest!

The Staff of vBFAQ have taken a few days to sift through the entries and struggled to come up with a list of finalists for the contest. I have to tell you, it wasnt easy. We wanted 5 finalists, but couldnt get down to that number so we have 8.

Joey did add on the first post, that only votes cast by those who were members prior to today would be counted. :)

We'll be checking at the end of the contest and deleting votes by people who didnt register before 08-05-07 -- in the future, yes, we'll have to set up something like a miniumum post number for future contest voting.

Ahh - thanks, I must've missed that. I'm preparing to run a contest on my site in the near future and was just thinking through the implications and possible cheating, and that one occurred to me.

You were right to bring that up FP. This being our first contest, we're being confronted with things that we didn't think about prior to the contest.

Just a good word about Dieselbombers.com..............the site is cool and is setup for technical diesel talk for Ford, Chevy and Dodge diesel trucks.....there is a quality staff there and the members are having a blast, some super knowlege for sure
