Bobbi DePorter's "Quantum Learning Book" was a delight for me to read. My interest in student achievement and accelerated learning led me to read this book, and I was amazed at the contents. Teach an old dog new tricks
Learning, the sheer thought of it,especially with nearing exams made me cringe. It was not school that killed my enthusiasm, it was Medical School.
br /It was drudgery and a dependable backside that got me through.
br /Working as a doctor added another complicating factor,that of limited time.
br /Now after having had two children I seem to have even less!
br /Because I wanted to consider employment seriously again, I had to take a good look at my learning style.I found it demotivating, time consuming and most of all hopelessly ineffective.
br /To find new techniques I started looking at the literature again and this book "Quantum Learning" sounded most promising. I was not disappointed.
br /Practical tipps I needed and I got them. Around the techniques I have started to create a learning style that suits me and the amount of time I have.
br /At 36,I have finally rediscovered the fun in learning things new.
br /I even took up skiing last month.
br /It appears after all, you can teach an old dog new tricks!
br /I congratulate Bobbi DePorter and Mike Hernacki to writing this book and myself for having the good sense reading it!

Read this book with your highlighter in hand. Then, once a month go back and read your highlights. This will help you in whatever you do, not just in school. I highly recommend it.
Excellent Choice to Learn to Learn!
This book is a great book on how to improve your way and your child's way to learn. It has great techniques for note taking, knowing your learning style, and other information to help you understand in a way it is easy for you to understand. great book! I recommend this for anyone!
Insightful
I purchased this book about three years ago. It made a difference in how I have managed myself and teams I work with. Understanding the different learning styles and taking the time to realize your own potential can come out in other ways made a big difference. An original copy I had was misplaced, but it made such an impression on my mind I purchased another copy recently to share with my coworkers. They found it useful as well.
