 A great concise work
I started to learn organization and general management using this book when I am a newcomer of MBA career around 1998. This concise volume introduced a glance at some symbolic researchers' works with some insightful comments. It is a required text prescribed by a management professor in National Chao-Tung University. Pugh Hickson's work is very heuristic and insightful. The writing skills are beautiful. This book is suitable to be a accompanying reference with some regular required courses, such as organizational behavior science or business management, especially when one has dedicated to be a researcher.
