 Great for children
I am a Lakota woman. I am a natural speaker and I speak the language quite well. I learned it while growing up on a Lakota "Sioux" reservation. I got this book because I want to teach my four year old neice the language. She hasn't been exposed very much to it. I plan to teach her when I go home from college for the summer. I'm very excited to use this book to help teach my niece. I've looked through it and find that I can trust it. I know she well love the coloring. The only reason I gave it four stars rather then five is that I can't give the actual book to my niece. This is more of a teachers reference and childrens learning book in one. The coloring pages have important teachers notes on the back of some of them so I can't even tear out the pages to give to her. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to photocopy the coloring pages or just hand the book over to her. That's the only downfall, but otherwise, it's great.
