Customer comments on this selection.
Overrated I bought this book because several of the weblog writers I like had featured writings included in the book. Excluding a few stories, I didn't find the majority of the writing very entertaining. When you consider the attention span of most people, the writing has to grab your interest quickly and the writing, overall, that was featured in this book, did not grab my interest at all. There are several entries that are merely lists that I didn't think were funny or interesting. I wouldn't consider a list "good writing". I was disappointed in the writing and thought 70% of the featured writing was overrated.
It Really Is The Very Best Weblog Writing Ever By Anyone Anywhere In The Whole Wide World I purchased this book mainly because I adore the writing of both of the ladies who helped publish it (Sarah Hatter Windy Atterberry). I figure if they make me laugh aloud than the title must be true. It really must be the very best weblog writing ever by anyone anywhere in the whole wide world. Seeing as how Ive never read another anthology of weblog writing - I'm going to have to say they were right, it is great.

br /50 Word Or Less
br /Two weblog writers join forces and publish a book of what they feel is the best of the vast blogging universe. It reads just like a blog which I think, is a lot of the charm.

br /Like/Dislike
br /There were a few entries/chapters that seemed to not have the same tone as the rest of the entries/chapters - so they felt slightly out of place to me.
br /I laughed out loud - a lot. No seriously, a lot.
br /Super quick read with no we went to the park today and my kids and all the other [...] you read on peoples blogs that you dont care about.
br /All of the authors in the book are really talented. So much so that I contemplated quitting blogging because I dont think I write good enough (sic).
Really good I was entertained from start to finish. I came across the book not knowing much about blogs and this showed me there's some great work being done out there. The writing is smart, honest and genuinely funny. I thought it was great.
