vBulletin Selling on Amazon for beginners
A good book. Readable, helpful, and very much holding your hand if you've never sold on Amazon before! br / br /I've sold on eBay for about 10 years, and am going to start selling on Amazon for all the usual suspect reasons: no listing fees, you only have to sell until an item sells until then your item stays up for free, no Paypal fees to take into account br / br /I found the book very helpful and I'm gonna buy it for my mom, as she wants to sell a lot of her books now. eBay might be too hard for her (and its too costly now anyway - I'm cutting back on my sales on eBay myself, and I LIKE eBay. Just that theres no profit to be made there with the rising costs br / br /Back to the book: books are talked about, its pretty basic, but I found it very helpful when I was starting to sell on Amazon, and I found that process daunting after gaining a red star (1000 feedback level) on eBay br / br /So it helped. I think its a good book on how to start on Amazon. Easy to use, understand, and I think it helped me a lot br / br /Amazon would seem to be a good site for a lot of things that just won't move on eBay (books, cds..) cos theres so many of them br / br /Also, with the rising costs of listing fees on eBay, and the change in the feedback system over the past several months (you can no longer leave negative feedback for a buyer, even if they don't pay) br /some people might be more confident on Amazon br / br /On Amazon, you don't have to worry about a bidder not skipping out and wasting your time by not paying (and you have to list the item again, after you wait a week to get your final value fee back from eBay by going thru the Unpaid Item process) br / br /On Amazon you always get paid if your item sells br / br /So (regardless of eBay vs Amazon feelings) good book. Buy it. Very helpful. QED

vBulletin Don't waste your money...
Author has hurt his own credibility by bashing other good books on this subject, then telling you that HIS is the "only one." He writes critical, one-star reviews on other books about selling on Amazon -- including books he's never even read, then boasts that his book is "the only one you need - really!" Yeah, right. This is a typical internet marketing ploy by someone who wants your money but doesn't have anything to offer. Not one single person to date has written a positive review on this book, EXCEPT the author. Zero. If it really helped anyone make money there'd be plenty of testimonials. The only "bargain" here is your 17 bucks in his pocket. There are plenty of good books out there on this subject by legitimate authors that you may want to consider. Try typing "sell on amazon" in the search criteria for dozens of other options from experienced sellers. If you want to "sell like a pro," I suggest you buy a book from someone with proven pro experience, not some newbie who thinks he's the lone expert on the subject (and can't garner a single positive review except from himself.)

vBulletin The first, still the best
... that's why I wrote it. br / br /This is the only book ever published that concentrates on... well, SELLING STUFF ON AMAZON.COM. It hit the shelves days after the "Dummies" book, it's still the better choice. I wrote it because every other book quickly slips off into the wonders of self-publishing, /or how to program a really KEWL eBay page, /or how to shop for the best on-line deals. If that's what you want, great... but make sure you're getting what you think you're buying! (By all means, search "buy on Amazon" to see if that isn't true.) br / br /No other book shows you how to set up your inventory system, or how to describe rate your books -- much less both. And then there's a chapter on how to go about determining a price that won't lose you money in the long run. br / br /Other authors will promise you riches without work, they even get upset spiteful when their promises are questioned. I promise you nothing but a fun sideline that'll take some common sense a little effort, put a few dollars in your pocket.
