Have you guys never thought about adding in a Thanks button so people can give thanks for a problem solved or a helpful hint etc.... I think it would be really good for this board.

Why use cookie-based read marking? It is so archaic. If your tables are InnoDB, than the database read-marking systems add practically no load and make the site a lot more usable. Shame, that its more difficult to read older threads now because they are all marked as read since my session expired.

I suggest a Board of the Month contest, just like we have at adminfusion, vbsetup, vb.org etc. It would be great fun, and very well suited to this site. Just one suggestion please - YOU (the vbfaq staff) choose the final winners, and not via polls, voting etc, in order to ensure a full & fair...

I think its a good idea to have a support ticket system here for vB FAQ, as in people sending in support tickets asking questions or needing help, complaints, maybe theres something that needs to be fixed and sometimes there's no way to address them but theres always going to be a support ticket...
