RECOMMENDED SOURCE for Embroidered Jackets, Hats, Shirts, Etc

I just started dealing with a new company that supplies jackets, hats, polos and a bunch of other stuff embroidered.

Here is the kick. On most items - there are NO MINIMUMS.

I got 2 jackets for 2 of my sites - (see pics) - These Jackets are Black Satin with a quilted Lining. Each one cost $50 embroidered. Now, each item will have a different price for you because the amount of stitches and what not on the embroidery will differ. But the prices are good.

More importantly - you can oder them as you need them - 1 at a time. You dont have to order 24 or more at once. SO you dont have to have a bunch sitting around waiting to sell. He will even ship directly to your customer - so you'll never actually have to touch the item. You take the order via paypal or whatever, and then send him an email with pmt for what you need, and he'll embroider it and ship it out.

SO my plan is to set up an order page for various items, and when they get ordered, pass the orders along. No inventory.

He also has leather jackets, polo shirts, and alot of other things.

He is new at this, but seems to do good work. I would like to see him get a handful of orders to help get him on his feet. SO give the guy a call.

I have no other interest in this except wanting to keep this source for merchandise available. (im not an affiliate or anything) But please tell him Joey from vBFAQ sent you.

The guy's name is Jim. --- Champs Clothing

    His site is: www.champsclothingonline.com
    His email is: sales@champsclothingonline.com
    His Phone is: 708-277-5067

Nice! Bookmarked for my forum when we get ready to have shirts/etc.

I just browsed his entire site, got some things that I would want, for a good price.

Thanks, Joey. I have been looking for a company that gives quality and reliable service. I hope this is the one. I sent an email to him to order a single hat to test. I'll keep everyone posted as to the progress if you'd like.

I got a quick response from Champs and was told they would send an image of the sample soon. I received the images a little while ago. Here is a reproduction (I only changed the size) of one of those images:

I sent them a zip file that included .TIF and .AI formats - a single image representing the whole logo and additional images of each layer separately. The zip also included the font file. Below is a representation (again, much smaller and in GIF format).

I replied to the email and said the logo didn't look like mine and thanked them for trying.

Sorry, I was really hoping to give better news. My logo may present problems because of the gradients or other issues. I don't know. It's been tough trying to find a supplier who can both produce an accurate representation of my logo and do it in a reasonable time-frame.

    Best R'gards,

    Jim

The only thing I see different is the gradient, which will be all but impossible to reproduce in an embroidered piece. You "might" be able to get it on a screenprint.

IMO - the sample looks pretty close and is a good representation.
