    What vB to upgrade to?

Hey I want to upgrade my vB board but I dont know what version I should upgrade to....i am currently running vB 3.6.8

I do not want to go to a BETA version of the software so i would like to know what is a good version i should upgrade to and what the benefits of the one you recommend are.

also how hard is it to upgrade to another vB version?

    Thanks for your time

Why not upgrade to the latest stable version, 3.8.1? If you're interested in social networking, personal profile albums, social groups, etc, then this would be a good upgrade. But even if you're not interested in those new features, it's a good idea to upgrade due to bug fixes, etc. You have the option of disabling the SN features.

    Hello,

You'll likely have to deal with at least a dozen template edits but it's not hard going from vB 3.6.8 to vB 3.8.1

If you'd like some help please feel free to send me a PM and we can work something out.

Like popowich said, there are a few template edits. If you have any mods installed that required template edits, you'll have to re-do those.

If you can click "next" about 30 times, you can upgrade your forum
Don't forget to make a backup, at least of the DB if it's your first time.
