I could have gotten my phone in "vibrant pink", but I like the color I got.
For some odd reason, color is important to me, even on a cell phone.

    Go figure

Did you do the "Cupcake" update yet? This update looks even slicker..if that's possible: http://lifehacker.com/5272021/cupcak...ore-to-android

It's really got me drooling for a G1, they know how to attract a fat guy..by naming their update after food.

I've got Cupcake downloaded to the desktop but haven't upgraded the phone yet. It looks pretty magic, I agree. T-Mobile says this week is the week they will be pushing Cupcake OTA, so I may end up waiting for it. If it doesn't happen this week, I'll do a manual upgrade next weekend.

I won't tell you the unofficial name for Android 2.0 is Donut.

Well, that was then and this is now. I am sitting here watching Cupcake install.

I remembered the phone was going to be to need to be charged and when I lit it up, Cupcake was sitting there waiting to be installed.

It's like a completely different device with Cupcake installed.

I love my Blackberry. Full internet access is nice. Have a applet you don't have a use for? Then select it and hide it or toss it in a folder. Hundreds of applications for it as well. I have one that takes my GPS location and shows me all the restaurants and events nearby. Great for when you want say Persian food but can't remember where the restaurant is at or if you're travelling. Also have ticketmaster on my phone so if I hear of an event, I can buy tickets right there. Facebook, Twitter, Pandora Radio (streaming music), Banking all in my hands.

I was thinking of getting an HTC Fuze but even with my $200 upgrade credit from AT&T, it would cost me about $400.00 to purchase. For that price, I'll just go get a HP or Dell mini-netbook and add a USB broadband adaptor. Can get a netbook for $299.00 with Linux. $40 for the adaptor. And get a nice 7" screen with it. Put some movies on SD cards and I am good to go.
